Hallo zusammen,

der Ruderbau für die Beluga stand an. Nach vielen Überlegungen enstschieden wir uns aufgrund der extremen Hinterschneidungen für eine zweiteilige Silikonform. Gießversuche fanden mit sehr schlagfestem Resin und Epoxidharz statt. Bei beiden Varianten kamen bis zu 4,5mm dicke GFK-Platten als Versteifung zum Einsatz. Die Platten entsprechen weitestgehend der Ruderform. Ergebnis des Gießens: Resin keine einzige Luftblase und bei Epoxidharz trotz Vacuumvorbehandlung zig kleine Microblasen, welche wohl aber keine negative Auswirkung haben. Ein Falltest aus zwei Meter Höhe führte bei beiden Varianten zu keinen Brüchen. Ein Test aus dem 1.OG in den Hof lies beide Varianten zerbrechen.

Hi Stefan,

das wäre ein viel zu großer Aufwand gewesen. Die Ruder sind richtig dick und groß. Unten am Sockel hat es ca 50mm, von den Hinterschneidungen ganz zu schweigen. Hinzu kommt noch die Tatsache dass man erst einmal eine CNC-Datei braucht. Ich benutze keine Software die diese Formen hinbekommt bzw. ich weis nicht wie ich es zeichnen soll. Zwei Halbruder wären eh die bessere Wahl gewesen, somit hätte man sich eine extrem komplizierte Aufspannvorrichtung für die 2. Seite gespart.

Fazit: Fräsen ist eine schöne Sache, aber man will auch mal fertig werden. Und mit dieser Methode kommen auch wir zu 8 gleichen Ruder.

echt super, was Ihr da so treibt. Um wie in Eurem Fall acht gleiche Ruder hinzubekommen gibt es keine sinnvollere Methode als Formenbau und Abguss. So kann man im Extremfall (Bruch) auch schnell Ersatz herstellen.

Eine Frage stellt sich mir allerdings: Wie wollt Ihr das untere Seitenruder sinnvoll gegen Bruch schützen? Es steht doch stark gegen den Rumpfquerschnitt nach unten über.

Seit unbesorgt, da wird nix brechen und es wird auch keine Stange montiert. Im Harz selber sind 4,5 mm dicke Versteifungen aus Epoxiplatten die bis in das Rumpfinnere reichen und dort verstiftet sind. Das ist zwar immer noch keine Garantie, aber einen ordendlichen Rums kann das Blatt schon aushalten.

Kleiner Erfahrungswert von lahmen Holländern:

Die Tiefenruder an meiner Tijgerhaai sind zwar nicht ganz so leicht gefährdet, haben aber auch schon einen Rumms am Mauervorsprung abbekommen und einen Schlag von unten beim Transport. Bei anständiger Befestigung von innen, kein Problem.

Man fährt allerdings im Allgemeinen mit 50 kg U-Booten nicht ganz so hektisch wie mit einem Boot von 5 kg.. 8)
