Hallo allerseits,


da mein neues Projekt sehr speziell geformte Propeller aufweist; vor allem die Nabe ist außergewöhnlich, stand hier zwangsläufig wieder eine Eigenanfertigung an. Einziger Nachteil eines Zweischraubers: Man muß zwei Propeller fertigen!

Hi Manni,

in welchem Winkel fräst du die Nabe ein, gibts da nen Richtwert? Nach oben hin wird der ja flacher nach dem biegen der Blätter. Wenn ich dein System richtig verstanden habe spannst du die Nabe auf einen Teilkopf und kippst den Fräskopf.

Hallo Sascha,

wenn Du die Nabe mit Steigung 1 einfräst hat Du denke ich eine guten Richtwert. Konventinelle Propeller haben an den Blattenden eine Steigung zwischen 0,1 und 0,3. Das ist imho der schwierigste Teil an der Herstellung. Haben die Bätter zu unterschiedliche Steigungen hat das selbst bei einem Modell gravierdene Folgen bei der Stromaufnahme und Vortrieb.

ein Winkel zwischen 45 und 50 ° ist in Ordnung; ein bißchen Spielraum hat man für die Feineinstellung dann noch durch das Schränken der Blätter.

Ich hab noch ne Frage zur Sicherung der Schraube selbst. Ist es sinnvoller eine Madenschraube in der Nabe anzubringen, oder die Nabe zu schlitzen und die Welle zu stiften? Wie löst ihr das?

Die Propeller werden bei mir mit einem Querstift mit der Welle verbunden, der Propeller somit nur aufgesteckt. gesichert wird das dann durch die zweiteilige Nabe, das vordere Ende wird aufgeschraubt und hält den Prop.
Übrigens, Carsten, Du solltest VOR dem Verlöten des propellers die Blätter profilieren, bei einem 7 - Blatt kommst Du nach dem Löten nicht mehr richtig dran.

Hallo Propellerexperten,
da wir für Abborren eine Zeichnung des Originalpropellers haben, sollte auch der für das Modell möglichs dem Original gleichen.
Eine erste Anfrage zur Herstellung eines Prop nach einer 3D Zeichnung kam auf 620,- € für das Urmodell, 220,- € für die Silikonform und 29,50 € für den Guss. War erst einmal zu teuer.
Jetzt habe ich ein Urmodell von einem Propellerblatt. Silikonform ca. 45,- €, Guss je Blatt ca. 6,50 €. Bronze ca. 0,50 € treurer.
Ist Bronze besser als Messing? Kann es Probleme beim Hartloten der Bronzeblätter an eine Messingnabe geben? Welches Lot ist geeignet?

Bronze ist ein ziemlich weitreichender Begriff. Wie es zu verarbeiten ist hängt von der Art der Bronze ab. Ohne das man weiss was drin ist kann man wirklich keinerlei Aussagen treffen.

Es gab keinen Grund mehr für Ausreden. Die Nabe war gedreht und die Schlitze gefräst. Ein passendes Lot (640°) gekauft. Eine einfache Halterung war gebaut, und eine Kochplatte als Unterlage und zum Vorwärmen besorgt worden. Zeit war auch da. Ein Übungsstück mit einem einfachen Blatt sah gut aus. Also los.

Die Hitze der Kochplatte und ein Propan-Hartlötbrenner haben gerade so gereicht. An einigen Stellen hätte etwas mehr Lot sein können. Vielleicht war ich auch nicht mutig genug. Für den ersten Versuch finde ich es OK. So schnell mache ich allerdings keinen weiteren Prop. Mal sehen, wie das Boot damit läuft.

Hitze ist absolut nötig um ein gutes Ergebnis zu erziehlen. Wenn die nicht passt, läuft das Lot nicht richtig und alles ist für die Katz. Ich finde es sieht doch eigentlich ganz gut aus.

Ich find den mal richtig gut! Die Blattform hat einfach was! Heiko ich hab meinen 212er gewuchtet. Schaden kann es nicht und schnell gemacht ist es auch.

Die noble Methode ist, du baust dir ein U-Profil mit 2 Kugellagern die in den paralellen Seiten eingelassen sind. Darin wird eine kurze Welle mit der Schraube drauf gelagert. Das Schwerste Blatt dreht sich immer nach unten. Markierung drauf und ein paar Feilenstriche abnehmen. Danach wieder testen, bis das Blatt in jeder Stellung stehen bleibt. Die Lowcost Variante hat eine einfache Achse durch den Propeller die auf 2x2 V-Förmig angeordnete Rasierklingen gelagert ist. Die Klingen mit etwas 5min Epoxi auf eine Waagerechte Fläche fixieren und auswiegen. Geht beides einwandfrei und ist sehr genau. So wuchte ich auch Luftschrauben die eine wesentlich höhere Drehzahl abkönnen.
